• Buyer Beware! Much of the meat Moody's sells comes out of boxes just like other markets might have. They have a small disclaimer on their web sight that states some of their high demand cuts of meat are supplemented through purchases from a "local family owned distributor". This is Dugdale Meats in Indianapolis. They also purchase boxed meat from other sources. I don't have a problem with boxed meat. I have a problem with allowing customers to walk out the door thinking they have purchased something special when in fact, it may not be at all! Much of the beef offered by Moody's is purchased from an auction barn! They have no idea where that animal came from, what it has eaten or what it has been given as supplements or medicine. I know this for a fact because I worked there for three years. This is an issue I addressed with the ownership many times. They do have some good products. But you need to ask where the meat came from if you really want to get what you think you are.
