• so I ordered ground beef on February 16 at 12:30 I picked up at 4pm and the meat was brown on the inside. I called to complain and I was told that hoelscher meats grounds their meat fresh every day. I'm a hunter and never have I had brown meat after butchering fresh in the morning and grounding it up, that takes a day or two of it sitting out for that to happen! not to mention it would be brown on the outside so they were hiding less than quality meat inside the good meat

• This is one of my favorite stores in Hamburg. It's got that small town personal feel to it. Along with the fair, realistic prices, good selection, the people are nice too!
