• This is one of my favorite bars. Think about it -- what makes a good bar? It is the building and the physical design, the amenities, and the bartender. This bar has the right balance. It is simple, rustic, but the just-right layout. The bar itself is a horseshoe shape, making it perfect for people watching and giving it a community feeling. The design also makes a great stage for the bartenders. The amenities are great, like big screen TVs, video games, pool tables, a stage with a great sound system for live performers and karaoke, lots of tables for big or small groups, and great burgers and finger foods. Last, but not least, the bartenders. This is where Harley and Horses really shines. The lady bartender is Aaron, affectionately known as Aaron Rockstar, a name well deserved because she is very entertaining, and she will remember your name, your drink preference, and all about you. Try Harley and Horses. I think you will like it too.

• This is my favorite bar in Rockport, Texas. You can belly up to the old fashioned U-shaped bar and be served by a friendly lady bartender. I guaranDamnT you will not be disappointed with the service. You can watch sports on big-screen cable TV. You can relax and cool down while listening to country and western music or you can heat things up at the pool tables or on the dance floor. They sometimes even have live music. You old-timers may remember that this establishment was once called The Brown Bag Saloon. It is under new ownership now, but it still has that legendary atmosphere that made it ***** famous.
