• I called in a prescription refill for noon. When I got there at 4 PM after running late on errands they didn't have it ready because it was not approved by insurance. I explained to them that my insurance doesn't cover it, and I've been paying for it myself at that same pharmacy for 15 years. The pharmacy assistant told me I would have to come back in a half hour or more because there were 10 prescriptions ahead of mine. I told him that I was heading out on a trip and couldn't wait half an hour and that I should be moved up on the list because the prescription was supposed to be ready at noon but it was their mistake to not fill it because of insurance when I always pay for it myself. He refused to bump me up. So, now I am going on a trip without my medication. I wasn't asking for special treatment, just to correct the mistake they had made not filling my prescription.
