• I was a regular shopper at the Zelda Rd. location (a treat after grocery shopping a Publix), but no more. When I went in with a bogo coupon I was ripped off and lied to. Told the clerk that I had a bogo and that I could either do 2 half full OR save them a cup and put it in one cup to be charged 50%. (By myself that day, so no friend for sharing). She said either way was fine. After using one cup, my price was really high considering the 50% off that I expected. I asked if the original total was twice that (about $11), she said YES. Then I had to ask for the receipt--she tried to throw it away. Turned out she gave me a 20% discount. When I asked about that she said 20% was the entire discount she could give. I asked why she did not tell me that when I asked about the need to use one cup or two. She had some weak excuse that she did not know I was going to use one cup---that was the whole point of my question when I first went in and told her I had a bogo. Not sure if the failure to communicate was a lack of competence on her part or just did not care. But there is NEVER an excuse to LIE to the customer such as her answer when I asked if the original price was $11 and her attempt to not provide a receipt. There are enough honest businesses that will not do business with a dishonest one!
