• DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY! Baldwin is a scam artist. I took multiple mowers to Baldwin for repair. Some of his repairs I had no complaints about, other repairs only lasted a day or two. Around mid summer I dropped off two of my mowers for different issues, and he called me back and told me someone poured bee honey in both of them. I thought it was strange because I kept all of my mowers together and locked up if they are not in use. I did not understand how some of them had bee honey poured in them and the others did not; But it was in the middle of busy season, so I took his word and paid him hundreds of dollars to drain both mowers out. My final straw was when he repaired the pump on my Toro Grand Stand, and it only lasted less than a month. He informed me that if there was an issue with the pump after he fixed it, that he would cover repair. I could tell it was the pump because it had the exact same issue with it turning, so of course I took it back to him. Baldwin and I inspected the mower to make sure there was no honey in it when I dropped it off. He said he would call me once he had a chance to diagnose it. After a month of not hearing from Baldwin, I called to ask about my mower. He informed me that the guy he had working for him quit and he was behind on work; He said give a couple of weeks and he would get back to me about my mower once he was caught up on other work. Once again he never called back. So after about a month I called him. He said he was still behind on work and to be patient with him. His exact words where " Mowing season is about over, I'm sure you wont be needing it for a while". I informed him that I use that mower for leaf removal as well and in fact did need it. Long story short, he had my mower for over eight months and when I finally decided to just go pick it up. Baldwin tried to tell me that it needed a pump and had HONEY in it. He must of forgot we took a look at it when I dropped it off this time. Also, he never repaired or refunded for the pump. This guy is a scam artist. I just want to give a fair warning to other people in the lawn care business like myself. I know how hard it can be to keep business going when leaving your equipment with unfit mechanics.
