• I have worked with Dave on 2 separate occasions. 1st in 2010 when I purchased a used car, and most recently while trying to find another used car. YOU have to do the research on the cars to protect yourself, as in any major purchase. Dave is more than willing to answer any questions or concerns you may have. It is also wise to have a mechanic check the car out before buying. This is just common sense. I use Dons Svc Center at 6501 Rising Ave. I find him to be honest and reasonable. Dave worked with me for 4 hours yesterday while I dealt with a bank to obtain a loan. He has a lot of patience and will try to work with you. I didn't have trouble with the 1st used car until I had owned the car for at least 2 years. I paid $2800 for a 1998 car with 78,000 on it; had it for 4 years, put 40,000 miles on it and now it needs too much work to put any more $$ into. Buying a used car is stressful - you do have to be careful, research the car, and have mechanic check it out. I plan on working with Dave at A+ Auto Sales again in the future.

• BUYER BEWARE! I would not recommend buying anything from this dealer. I was saved by running a carfax report on a potential purchase of a 2002 Jeep Liberty and found the vehicle has a recall for an airbag issue that could deploy unexpectedly. This guy didn't even run a report on this vehicle upon his purchase from an auction, and to date the issue has not been addressed or taken care of. He was also asking for way too much money for a vehicle that has high miles and known problems, and a drive on the highway was out of the question. Thirdly, it seemed a little shady when I was asked several times if I could bring a "few thousand" as a deposit. Who has access to that kind of cash these days! Just beware and do your research on fair market values for vehicles and do not just go by what Kelly Blue Book or Edmund's says is a fair price. Everyone needs to make an extra buck, but hell, he was going to make almost 5 grand between the sale of this vehicle and my trade in!
