• Buyer beware! If you want to get away, this is not the place to go. Among the issues that caused our disappointment, we were charged more upon our arrival than the the cost we were quoted at booking. We called ahead to confirm our reservation. Phil, the owner, had no interest in our attempt to communicate. That should have been our red flag. The accommodations left A LOT to be desired. We stayed in the "cottage." It was dirty and in disrepair. I could go on and on, but overall we left very dissatisfied. Phil had absolutely no interest in our complaints or compensating us for our disappointment. I would not recommend Edinboro Lake Resort. Next time we will stay in Erie. The bad reviews are here for a reason. Expensive mistake.
